After starting his career working for large, global wine producers, Sam determined that his true love was working with and enjoying Pinot Noir. The next step in Sam’s career was a stint of 5 years working with Kosta Browne Winery before taking the leap with his wife, Jennifer, and taking their winemaking hobby to the next level. As a relatively new winery, Lando Wines produced its first wines, 2013 Russian River Pinot Noir and 2013 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, which were released in February of 2015.

Moffett Vineyards

Moffett Vineyards is located in the Eastern Mountain tops of the Napa Valley in the prestigious Howell Mountain Appellation. The family owned and operated business has been growing grapes and producing wines for over 36 years in the Napa Valley. Moffett Vineyards is dedicated to making the highest quality wines of limited production while emphasizing personal relationships with their customers.

Moffett Vineyard was established in 2005 after the sale of their family’s winery Livingston Moffett Wines. Due to the sale and a trademark issue that had been a conflict for over 20 years, The Livingston Moffett family dropped the name Livingston and left the legacy wines under the Moffett name.    Livingston Moffett Wines was a family business run by John and Diane Livingston and their son Trent Moffett. Moffett Vineyard is now perched on 20 Acres of prime Howell Mountain land located 1,500 feet above the Napa Valley floor. Trent has started developing the land applying his father’s blue print from 36 years ago to his new property. Stage one was the development of some of the vineyard land that is now producing excellent Howell Mountain Cabernet.

We are excited to have Trent Moffett pouring his own wines.  Growing up in Napa Valley, he is a second-generation vintner with an inherent passion for winemaking.  Trent grew up farming during his summers, winemaking, and fully learning the ins and outs of the family business.  Working his way through all aspects of winemaking and running a business.  Trent currently produces three different labels, Moffett Vineyards, his heritage label that delivers classic limited production batches, Screenplay Wines, his spirited and cutting edge blends and C&T Cellars, his casual and accessible label.

Verandah

Before the advent of air conditioning, most Southern homes featured a large covered verandah for welcoming guests and spending time outdoors in the relative shade. This was also a period without modern refrigeration or motorized vehicles, which meant food was necessarily prepared fresh, with local ingredients. At Verandah, they strive to offer their guests a relaxed experience—contemporary southern casual fare enjoyed at yesterday’s pace.

Along with numerous local accreditations and awards, Jeff was invited as a team member to cook at the notable James Beard House in New York City, a prestigious honor extended only to dedicated chefs who have refined their personal kitchen expertise. Jeff’s invaluable knowledge, expert skill, and overall mastery of food heralds an exciting new chapter for Verandah.
