Helen attended the University of California – Davis and has since worked with the likes of Heidi Barrett, Kathy Joseph, Michel Rolland and David Abreu. This winemaker was named Top Winemaker by Food & Wine Magazine in 2012 because of her ability to “sweat the details with pleasure”. After living in the Priorat region in Spain for three years and exploring southern France, the Languedoc and the Rhone, she and her husband became fans of the regional wines and Mediterranean way of life. They returned to Napa and started a wine project with California Grenache and Syrah. These Napa Valley wines from Helen Kiplinger are not to be missed!

Vinnie’s Steak House and Tavern, has been a premiere destination for fine dining in the Triangle since 1987. Independently owned and operated, Vinnie’s proudly serves Certified Angus Beef in a variety of cuts and sizes, featuring Prime New York Strips, Dry Aged Ribeyes and a Bone-In Filet Mignon exclusive to Vinnie’s. Vinnie’s also offers the freshest seafood available, including Jumbo Cold Water Lobstertails, classic Italian fare, Farmer’s Market vegetables and homemade desserts.

Their display wine cellar houses an extensive selection of wines from around the world and serves as a centerpiece to their intimate and elegant dining room. White linen, vintage leather chairs and sparkling crystal will set the mood for a more than memorable dining experience, no matter what the occasion. For those truly exceptional occasions, Vinnie’s has three private rooms to host special events for groups of 8-80 and banquet packages are available for groups of 20 or more.
